Ms. Snugglesworth on Daily Bunny!!!
Dahling ... you look tired. *Bunny Purrs* "Darling, you look like you need some relaxation. What could be more relaxing than petting an especially soft bunny? That's right...nothing! Now, lavish attention on me and I will return the favor with snuggles and perhaps a binky." Heehee :) This is Ms. Snugglesworth (umm AWESOME name). 10.5 pounds of pure 140% proof adopted love...
I can't tell you how happy we are!!! We've dubbed him Linus now, and he has taken to his new pen just fine; he knows where his litter corner is, he is happy where his water crock is set up. But what we love the most is the fact that all he really wants to do is sit next to us on the couch and be pet!!! Our beloved Thor was NOTHING like this! He was extremely rambunctious and despite the fact that we loved him beyond belief, he honestly was not the friendliest of rabbits. But not Linus, he is such a love! Today he spent a good couple of hours curled up next to Haydn watching television.
He spent some time meeting the rabbit-in-charge, my dwarf Nibbler, but he didn't seem fazed by him. Nibbler of course had to assert his dominance and do a little grunting and digging to let Linus know who's boss, lol! The cats are curious about their new housemate but have welcomed him by sharing some of their favorite resting spots.
I can't tell you how happy I am that we chose to adopt rather than going back to the breeder and buying new! I don't think we could have gotten such a well mannered bun anywhere else. You guys do a wonderful job with all your rabbits. Let me tell you, it was hard for me to leave with just one!

BNN reader Tina sent in this story from USA Today, which could have serious implications for those of us who entertain our bunnies with cardboard TP rolls. Time to start conserving those rolls....
Kimberly-Clark rolls out tube-free Scott toilet paperThe toilet paper roll is about to undergo its biggest change in 100 years: going tubeless.
On Monday, Kimberly-Clark, one of the world's biggest makers of household paper products, will begin testing Scott Naturals Tube-Free toilet paper at Walmart and Sam's Club stores throughout the Northeast. If sales take off, it may introduce the line nationally and globally — and even consider adapting the technology into its paper towel brands.
No, the holes in the rolls aren't perfectly round. But they do fit over TP spindles and come with this promise: Even the last piece of toilet paper will be usable — without glue stuck on it.
The 17 billion toilet paper tubes produced annually in the USA account for 160 million pounds of trash, according to Kimberly-Clark estimates, and could stretch more than a million miles placed end-to-end. That's from here to the moon and back — twice. Most consumers toss, rather than recycle, used tubes, says Doug Daniels, brand manager at Kimberly-Clark. "We found a way to bring innovation to a category as mature as bath tissue," he says.
He won't disclose the tubeless technology used but says it's a special winding process. A similar process is used on tissue the company sells to businesses but not to consumers.
Behind the marketing push is a growing consumer demand for environmentally friendly products.
One environmentalist applauds the move. "It's a positive example of how companies are seeking creative ways to reduce environmental impact," says Darby Hoover of the Natural Resources Defense Council. But more relevant than nixing the tubes would be more recycled content in its paper, Hoover says. While Scott Naturals normally has 40% recycled content, this test product does not — but future versions will, Daniels says.
Bunnies do not approve of tube-free TP
Hoover says she hopes other toilet tissue makers follow Kimberly-Clark's lead. How soon that may happen is unclear. Procter & Gamble, maker of top-seller Charmin, declined to comment.

oh you really know how to make a rescuer cry...One Year Anniversary with my Momo!!
Hello, It's Francesca and Carmaine and we adopted Momo (formerly known as Leibnitz) one year ago! I just wanted to share our continued happiness with our bunny boy. He's still very small we figure he's not growing anymore... he's only 3 lbs! He now has a wifey which we saved from a pet store where she was being used to breed. :( the
horrible place gave me her in a paper bag!!!
Momo took care of her while she fattened up and got healthy and now they are inseparable!
Her name is Mimi, so I like to yell MI-MO when i want to find them both. Thought you would enjoy the update and some pics. I love my babies and am glad that I can give these two buns a place to call home. Momo says thanks!

It was so hot my eyelids got burned...
G'day all, today, 10/19/10!!!! Faraday checking in. I'm a baby himalayan-x boy, bought on the street downtown LA and discarded a few days later. What would we rabbits do without RabbitMatch!!!!! I was in the hot sun in a tiny cage. My eyelids were burned. They'll be OK soon, no worries we have climate control here!!!!!. I weigh 1 lb 5 oz and am on the thin side, but what do you expect!!!!! My birthdate is 9/1/10. The moms would be so happy to have YOU come in and cuddle me while I'm growing up a bit to where I can be adopted out. Probably the end of November. I surely could use some extra cuddling!!!! I know you wish I had the dwarfy ears. Nope!!! They're quite substantial, actually. Oh and yes, of course I can discuss the latest developments in electromagnetic induction with you!!!! I'll pass on helping you with your chemistry kit experiments though. Really beneath me and anyway, I don't fancy singed eyebrows!!!! A ka-boom of bunnylove to you!!! Faraday.
Just because I feel like bragging...
this is my Buster. He's disabled. I've had him for 6 years. He's 9 years old. He was just diagnosed with head tilt Sunday, but is doing Way Better already. My guy. : )
