A Month of Gouda -- IMOM calendar contest needs a bunniy on its calendar!

Yes, you too can have a month of Gouda! IMOM hosts an annual photo contest to pick 12 calendar-worthy pets. Most proceeds go to IMOM, an organization that helps owners with special-needs animals. The first place winner will received 25% of proceeds to their charity of choice, in Gouda’s case Rabbit Match. Out of the currently 150+ animal entries, Gouda is the only rabbit. How this is even possible I don’t know, since on an obsessed-about-my-pet scale of 1-10 (1 being Cruella de Vil, 10 being the crazy cat lady on everyone’s block), rabbit owners usually average a 7. This is a scientific fact.

It’s important for the public to be aware that there ARE more domesticated animal companion options than cats and dogs, and there is a very big need for rabbit adopters in the LA area. If Gouda were included in the calendar as one of the top 12 winners, the blurb accompanying his picture would give exposure to Rabbit Match’s work, and hopefully educate and encourage people to adopt a bun of their own.

You can start voting TOMORROW for #64 Gouda and Rabbit Match, at IMOM.org. gouda hindlegs
