The Humane Society of the United States: Email - We need your help again -- ask Strawberry to go fur-free!
Thank you for taking action earlier this year to ask Strawberry, a leading New York-area retailer, to stop selling rabbit and other animal fur. We've attempted several times to reach out to Strawberry about its 2010 winter sale of real animal-fur vests marked as "faux fur" and unlabeled sweaters trimmed with raccoon dog fur. We hoped the company would do what is right and announce a fur-free policy for its stores. Unfortunately, they have not.

Stage 4 cancer can be beat!!!!! Yipppeeeeeeee!!!
I have a bunderful friend who was diagnosed last year with Stage 4 peritoneal cancer (rare and inside the abdomen area).
With two surgeries and three chemos behind her, this is the news I got today...
No evidence of metastatic malignancy! So, I'm 90% happy - will be 150% happy when I hear that from Dr. E.
She is One Amazing Woman.

Tobias, our little 3 lb hotot dwarf dude, is searching for an emergency foster human.
He's offered to go to foster so we can save two more buns who've been dumped at the local shelter (Tobias knows what leaving them there is like. That's where we found him too).
Tobias, came in to the animal shelter with 1 inch long nails stained yellow, urine scald and a bad case of fur mites. : ( RabbitMatch rescued him and the sweetest gentlest boy is doing fine now.

This is Patagonia...she wants a word with you...
I’m Patagonia and I am the sweetest bun you will ever meet. I bear a gorgeous gray coat with a prominent patch of marigold colored fur on my posterior. The moms say it matches my sunny disposition! I am an expert nuzzler and all around fabulous cuddler. I would absolutely love to be adopted by a human who will keep me in their nice warm home and provide me with unlimited affection and of course a nice supply of greens and exercise! In my spare time, I love to rearrange my condo and sprawl out in my ex-pen after running in circles around the moms.
If Playboy featured real bunnies rather than those silly humans dressed up in bunny ears, I would definitely make the cover! I am an expert flirt but am looking for my one true love and I wish upon a star that it’s you, you delicious-smelling human! Our Bunny 101 class was booked solid! We had great fun, learned a lot and our bunnies will be safer and healthier.
1) all the steps of treating stasis (your rabbit not eating/pooping) and an explaination of each step,
2) discuss the gadgets you'll need for your bunny first aid kit,
3) common ailments and how they are treated, and
4) a discussion of different antibiotics, modes of administration, etc.
And there's a question/answer period at the end of class! Bring your questions!
