Bunny Heaven = Michelle's House!

hi there,

Summer and Blaze [Pandolfini] are doing great...we built them a bunny tunnel out of boxes and they zip through there all the time :0)  They get lots of loving from the entire family.  Emily and Hannah love them and help me feed and change their litter box.  My husband even spends time playing/cuddling with them every night :0)  He never owned bunnies before S & B but is a cat lover...he says bunnies are great because they are like cats but don't run away when he wants to pet them haha.  I frequently find him laying in their pen with a bunny at each hand getting some lovin'! 

Oh, also, we grow our own mustard greens, parsley, celery and strawberries so the bunnies have lots of fresh veggies/greens (no strawberries, just the leaves) to eat, which is fun.  Our lives have become pretty rabbit-centered lately haha. They get A LOT of attention but also have little bunny hiding places as well.

It's This Sunday: Rabbit Foundation Holiday Party!

More About the Party!    Admission and parking are FREE. There is plenty of parking on the South side of Exposition. Our Holiday Party is both a volunteer appreciation event and a fundraiser. If you can afford to donate, that's great because we're in the same position as other small non-profits these days... but if you can't afford to donate, please do come anyway, enjoy the party and celebrate all the rabbits we have saved together!    We will have door prizes, fabulous silent auction items, Guess Baby's Weight Contest, and more! PetSave Foundation and Bunny Bunch Boutique will be there selling bunny food and a selection of toys and gifts for you and your rabbits.   Door prizes will be drawn every half hour. Presentation of the Los Angeles Rabbit Foundation Michelle Kelly Award for 2010 and other volunteer appreciation announcements will take place between 2-2:15 p.m., after the 2 p.m. door prize drawing. Guess Baby's Weight Contest winner will be announced at 3:30 p.m. The person who guesses closest to Baby's weight will win a $25 gift certificate to Amazon.com plus a choice of door prize.   Happy Holidays!

That's exactly when Danielle, one of our Uber Volunteers, first contacted us wanting to spend time with the bunbuns...

Almost three years later...she's leaving our merry band of bun nuts.  We love you, Danielle.  We'll ALL miss you.

Meet Bunsen Burner!!! a little ball of hot fiery love!!!

According to our bunderful volunteer, Camille, "I got to meet our new little boy kid!  He is so precious and I've brainstormed a fitting name for him.  What do you think of "Bunsen?"  As in Bunsen Burner since he's such a little ball of hot fiery love and spunk right now!"

Ms. Snugglesworth went to an A+ home today.  She'll be bonded with a partner bun.  They got along wonderfully.
