I can't tell you how happy we are!!! We've dubbed him Linus now, and he has taken to his new pen just fine; he knows where his litter corner is, he is happy where his water crock is set up. But what we love the most is the fact that all he really wants to do is sit next to us on the couch and be pet!!! Our beloved Thor was NOTHING like this! He was extremely rambunctious and despite the fact that we loved him beyond belief, he honestly was not the friendliest of rabbits. But not Linus, he is such a love! Today he spent a good couple of hours curled up next to Haydn watching television.
He spent some time meeting the rabbit-in-charge, my dwarf Nibbler, but he didn't seem fazed by him. Nibbler of course had to assert his dominance and do a little grunting and digging to let Linus know who's boss, lol! The cats are curious about their new housemate but have welcomed him by sharing some of their favorite resting spots.
I can't tell you how happy I am that we chose to adopt rather than going back to the breeder and buying new! I don't think we could have gotten such a well mannered bun anywhere else. You guys do a wonderful job with all your rabbits. Let me tell you, it was hard for me to leave with just one!
