David Moskowitz and HRS Educator Michelle Kelly first met when he adopted a pair of rabbits from her non-profit rabbit welfare organization. Then David decided to volunteer for the organization on Saturdays to help adopt out the rabbits. Every time he saw Michelle kissing a rabbit on the nose, he tried to figure out a way to get his own nose closer, just in case.
Fast forward about six months. Michelle was finishing her dissertation, and David offered to help edit. He went over to Michelle's place and worked day and night on the formatting and bibliography. One evening, while listening to Michelle's plans for future dating, he informed her that he was going to be first in line as soon as the dissertation was finished. Her back to him, she asked if he was making progress on the bibliography... and smiled.
David and Michelle will be married on February 10, 2010 and ask that donations be made to the Los Angeles Rabbit Foundation.
