Okay everybun...big news day!! : )
We have news!!Ten of our kiddos are on their way to a wonderful rabbit rescue (and wildlife rescue!) in North Texas! Lulu and her hubby, Jeremy, stuffed all ten in their little car (safely, of course) and drove them away to their new home...sorta... Diana, new mom from the rabbit rescue, will be meeting them in Marfa, TX. Anyone know about Marfa?? Sounds like a Very Cool Place. http://tmagazine.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/06/05/wanderlust-marfa-texas/ With a population of less than 2,500, they have their own Prada store... 
Who knew!?And here's where Lulu and Jeremy are staying...El CosmicoTo top it off, Diana requested a personal bunny of her own. She knew exactly who she wanted...a gray chinchilla girl with attitude...WHO could she be talking about???? ; )

My son, Daniel and I are somewhat giddy at having so many buns in the house! Taking the bonding process verrryyy slowly. . . . And, after watching Sadie and Zoey (new names!) do binkies across the living room tonight, the idea of three times as many droppings to clean up, seems a small chore next to the joy these two will bring into our home.Thanks for everything! Hi everybun!Our two (shedding!) girls went home with Angie (our ex-RM vol) to spoil a handsome, debonair 10 yr old Dutch/Silver Marten x bunboy, Niles...he reminds me of "The name is Bond, James Bond." 
He now has a harem.

RabbitMatch.org is closing our doors...
Due to circumstances in many areas, Inge and I have made the painful decision to close RabbitMatch.org's doors if we can't find rent money soon. December 18th. As a friend of our rabbits, we know you'll do whatever you can to help. Please contact Inge or me if you have questions or have an idea (or miracle) to change our course. Miracles needed...
- Donations. Please help keep us open past 12/18 so we can find homes for the 39 rabbits now in our care. A $2,000 donation fell through. We have $757 dollars in our checking account. That's one month's rent.
$25.81 will pay for one day's rent. $180.67 will pay a week's rent.
- Adopters. You definitely qualify as our idea of a good home! ; )
- Volunteers. We need help at the rescue so we have more time to find homes at offsite adoption venues and in networking with other rescues across the country (plus YOU get the added benefit of cuddling with the rabbits).
We have 39 rabbits to rehome including 3 special needs buns.
